Agria Swara and PSM-IPB got gold medals for mixed choir category from the President of Italy after becoming the champion at The Third International Choir Competition grand final in Rimini, the beach resort city about 350 km from Rome.
Agria Swara choir also became runner-up in male choir category after setting aside 17 choir groups from 13 countries such as United Kingdom, Russia, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, and Venezuela.
Agria Swara consists of 46 singers with conductor Arvin Zeinullah who leads Agria Swara in the last few years. He also managed to reach the predicate ‘the best conductor’. “Along with this phenomenal success, Agria Swara become the star in the closing ceremony”, he said.

Meanwhile, Paduan Suara Mahasiswa Perbanas (PSM Perbanas), Jakarta, won golden diploma as a champion of the category of ethnic music (musica traditionale) and religious music (music religious).
At The Eighth International Choir Competition in Riva Del Garda, PSM Perbanas asided 18 participating countries such as Austria, Germany, United Kingdom, Iran, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Spain, and Switzerland.
Like the conductor of Agria Swara IPB, the conductor of PSM Perbanas Agustinus Bambang Jusana also managed to complete the victory of Perbanas contingent in Riva Del Garda, 800 km from Rome, by obtaining “the best conductor” title.
The success of PSM Perbanas as the champion in gospel category had attracted admiration not only from the audiences but also from the European choir contingents who are Christian religious majority. Perbanas group consists of 42 people and almost all are moslems.
Perbanas group who wore Papua traditional clothings with Yamko Rambe as the excellent song created a bustling atmosphere of competition successfully.
There were 700 audiences in Santa Maria Assunta Church at least who gave a standing ovation until all Indonesian contingent members sat down.
The judges even asked PSM Perbanas to perform again to entertain audiences at the closing ceremony with the same clothing and song.
